Located on the east side of campus, 70 Amherst Street is a furnished, co-ed residence hall for 133 single graduate students. The residence is comprised of mostly single bedrooms with shared kitchens and community bathrooms, and a few single bedroom apartments. The building is located in Kendall Square and is within walking distance from MIT's main entrance at 77 Massachusetts Avenue.
Important Information for New Residents!
If you have joined Amherst after November 2020, contact 70 Amherst Board and let us know your email ID and the room number you moved into. This will help us add you to the house mailing lists and also internal floor mailing lists. This in turn gives you access to the reservation website and other links under Services section of our website.
